This Toshiba i received from my father in law, I use to work for Nielsen TV Ratings so i know my way around inside a TV well but I am no means a repair man. First issue was the Fan went bad which caused the Bulb to go bad, we got a new bulb and it briefly worked with a house fan keeping it from over heating, due to inconvenience we got a new fan, it fit, but was not the same fan. Now the TV just blinks the green light and the red light simultaneously and wont come on at all. I have thought maybe its a sensor and it does not like the new fan so i unplugged everything from the board and still nothing. Same lights blink. Please Help!

I think that you have a problem with your ballast board this is the power source to the lamp if for any reason it starts to wear out or weak it will not be able to turn on your lamp check this link out it is about Toshiba lawsuit

just putting this out there...it makes me look dumb but if it helps someone else its worth it. The red and green simultaneous was due to the lamp door not making a good connection with the sensor...(sigh). Now i have a 1sec interval red light...which i assume is the bulb. I will assume step 1, replace the bulb, if it dosent work set 2 replace the ballast board. If step 2 is successful after step 1 at least i have an additional bulb for when it eventually does go out :(
