I was able to hotsync my LD once with my PC. the next time i tried it, i couldn't connect with my PC anymore.
the lifedrive manager window would be on and indicate the space i have available on the lower right corner. when i press the hotsync button on the cable attached to the base of the LD, the lower right corner changes to a message; "palmOne device is not connected". then i get a similar message on the LD saying i'm unable to hotsync. when i tap "ok", the lifedrive manager reconnects on its own telling me whats in my device and space available.
same thing happens when i tap the hotsync button in my LD

This morning I downloaded LifeDrive Update 1.0, and when I did a HotSync afterwards, I got an error message saying,
Handheld Tasks application database version not supported.
Handheld Notes application database version not supported.
Now my contacts, memos, tasks, calendar entries and possibly other items are all gone!! This is the core data that is the reason why I use a PDA! I would be totally distraught, except that the data does still seem to exist in Outlook on my PC.
I am running Outlook 2002, SP3 on a WinXP machine. Can anyone help to fix this problem?
Check the USB and hotsync logs when you next try this. It will show what it did or couldn't do. That should give you an idea why the conduit isn;t talking to outlook. It may be a security setting in windows or outlook or the conduit needs to be setup.
