I've had my Xbox 360 for just over a year now and I havn't had any problems until now. Nothing has changed in my setup; same tv, same receiver, same cords. I moved and bought Bioshock and suddenly I have color problems. It started by going black-and-white(and I'm not talking about the ghost sequences in Bioshock) and back to color. Then it became faded color after I bought new AV cables. Now the screen is sectioned like a rainbow vertically. I tried a different tv and it was black and white only. The cords are all secured and I've plugged it into 3 inputs on my receiver and directly into the tv itself with both sets of cords with the same results. I blew air into the jack for the AV cables on the 360 and it didn't help. It's not my tv because cable and my DVD player work fine, so it's not my receiver either. I'm pretty sure the problem is with my 360, I'm just trying this before I buy a new system. Anyone have any thoughts?
It sounds to me like a problem within the 360s hardware itself. You could try sending it back to microsoft or like you said, going out and getting a new one.
