Remove the speaker grill on the front of the tv by pulling it outward evenly, so not to break it. While looking at the front of the tv, there will be a compartment on the right side. You unscrew 1 screw and take the cover off. Then unscrew the 2 screws holding the old lamp on the tv. After you've unscrewed the previous 3 screws you should be able to pull out the old lamp. You can now install the new lamp and complete each step in reverse order.

I have a panasonic DLP TV model PT56LC70 lamp is blown and out of warranty. Dealer will not renew warranty. and manufacturer says bulb discontinued. lamp original part is luxim lifi electrodeless RF lamp (...

Just to be sure, I looked at your Model Number and found a PT-56LCX70.
I usually order my parts from Andrews Electronics in California, they will have the OEM components that you will need.
Their site is
http://www.andrewselectronics.com/welcome.aspx
And their phone number is a 24-Hour Order Desk: (800) 274-4666
I recommend the phone order so you can talk to the person about the different types of IC’s that are available.

The part number that I was able to find was LFS4000PA1EB.

But I would contact Panasonic about this problem, they have an 18 month warranty on the lamp product.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.
