Lenovo Solution Center will not run - Lenovo Thinkpad T60 Notebook

First of all, just try pressing On/Off button gently from center. If it does not help, please press On/Off button gently from each corner once and check if that buttons comes to its normal position and work.
If issue persists, it is recommended to contact your tablet manufacturer Lenovo Support Center to replace the tablet or repair the On/Off button.

1.- Run Lenovo diagnostics and look out for hardware errors.
2.- Reinstall screen and input drivers.
3.- Take it to a lenovo repair center.

A search of the following PDF suggests that there's no VGA or other video port, and the LED panel plugs in through a ribbon cable to the motherboard, so I doubt you'll find a way to hook up another monitor.

A Google search for "lenovo b300 led panel" suggests that the led displays are available and the PDF above tells you in a round-about way how to replace it.

I did not work for me in the beginning because Z500 didn't know it had a battery.

1. First do a clean install of Windows 7.
2. Install all the drivers only for Lenovo site and respect the restarts. Install Lenovo Energy Management last. Go to Lenovo Energy Management and set it for full Performance.
3. The indicator in the animation should be far right not center.
4. Go to Advanced Power Settings in Control Panel -> Lenovo Energy Management and hit ENABLE
5. Now you restart and you should be able to do the firmware update

6. If you cannot do the firmware update then uninstall LEM, remove ACPI from Device Manager, Reinstall LEM, Enable again.
7. If you cannot do the firmware update then try battery gauge reset in Safe Mode and remove ACPI after, and then Reinstall LEM, Enable.

to remove the hard disk, remove screws from small hard disk drive door (loacted on back of notebook), disconnect the hard disk by removing two screws (if applicable) pull tab to remove disk.

3. Double-click the hddquicktest_setup_60549818x86.exe icon.

Hi there. You can watch TV by using Windows Media Center. You might need to configure it first for channel selection. Just go through the process of setting it up and you'll later on be able to watch Television channels using that software.
