My lenovo R60 laptop speaker not working from april. please give suggession.

My volume is also not loud enough. Attaching headphones gives you plenty of volume for personal use. But if you are using it in a class or meeting, attach a speaker.

If you have speaker in the lower right in the tasbar, click on the speaker icon and slide it up to increase volume.

The first thing to try is a set of headphones to make sure its not your speakers. Failing that I would try uninstalling and reloading the drivers, you can search for drivers for your laptop here, unfortunatly Lenovo doesnt allow me to directly link to the drivers for your specific model, but if you follow the questions it will give you a list of all the drivers for your model. http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/

if you look at the bottom of the laptop should be a type number
go to Lenovo website and type the number if you dont know there an option of autodetect write the number for your records then it will give you the spe c of the laptop with all the drivers

The problem is that the "inverter" inside the LCD screen has failed.

It's about a $20 part to replace, but I recommend that you take the computer to a qualified technician for proper disassembly/repair/reassembly/testing of the LCD.

try to delete the Lenovo readycomm on your install programs on your control panel
