It might be a software problem.try to run software update available on nokia site.if it does not work,you have a big problem,related to dropping a phone on a hard surface or similar...hardware repir needed in that case
My nokia n70 gets a white screen each 2 hours or if I got some call even if I can answer the call but the screen stay on white until I remove the battery and fix it again, I reformated the mobile more than 3 times with no good result.

Reformat your phone, but u will loose data stored. Software Update sometimes are tricky it may kill your phone completely and you will have to take it to a technician for a flash on your software. I would suggest take your phone to a technician, it is just a two minute job, rather u doing it urself. u would end up messing up with your phone if u do not know what u are doing

hi there you've go a software problem there try this manual formating somtimes it works but if not must go now to any nearest service center to reprogram your phone. ok!
so here's the tricks to format....
power off the phone first then PRESS and HOLD
"CALL KEY" + "* KEY" +
"3 KEY" then power on the phone just hold and wait till NOKIA LOGO
appears then release. finish, phone will be ok. you will know that you
successfully format the phone cuz' all your data form the phone will be
back to normal.

n70 shows only white screen and not charging. What should i do? it was working before i turned it off.

Just after updating security and virus definitions on phone nothing works just white screen with nokia on it. phone has not been dropped or anything. Problem, in my case, is to do with the update!!! Phone would not turn off or anything, had to take out battery, tried leaving battery out overnight, taking sim card and memory card out, still same, sim still works in other phones.
Tried plug into computer, won't recognise. Won't work with other sim card either. Tried leaving on with white screen till battery went flat. What's the warranty on this phone?
exactly the same problem: white screen. No virus installed, no blue tooth on. Phone definately NOT dropped. Was working perfect this morning, put it away on the table. 30 minutes later the problem as described above.
how do you fix the blank screen on the n70. ? It worked fine then after a while it would just freeze and turn into white screen , but now just turns on and goes straight to white screen . Is there any way to fix this problem with out spending more cash?

yep, i have exactly the same problem as described. white screen, only way to turn the phone off is to remove the battery (mine is a nokia 2630). wont work with other batteries or sim card. please help
