Toshiba satellite laptop doesn't work after ipod removal

Toshiba satellite laptop doesn't work after incorrect removal of an ipod,i tried to use safe mode but this couldn't start.It has windows vista home premiun.Thanks

    The laptop is of my nephew's mother and he removed the ipod incorrectly.I'll ask him to bring the ipod and i'll follow your advice.Thanks

    How did you removed your IPod and shut ed down your PC?

    try plugging your iPod in before turning on the unit. If it boots, then eject the iPod properly.

When you turn it on, try pressing the F8 key repeatedly and when you have a menu, choose "Safe Mode with network support" and see if you can get to your desktop that way. Toshiba satellite stuck in safe mode
You can call local laptop tech and ask to remove the windows password. It cost $25 - $50 to remove the password.

USB only works with some devices
Do you have Windows 8 64bit? Do you have the latest version of iTunes 64bit installed? : http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes_64/ Is the process started in Services (ipod helper/services process)? This may help: http://www.runscanner.net/lib/ipodservice.exe.html What software do you use for the Camera? Have you tried rebooting the Laptop? You may have to format the Thumb Drive that doesn't work, what is on it?

My toshiba laptop won't start properly, it keeps directing to the boot menu and won't let me back into windows. I've tried safe mode.
Can you get to safe mode? Remove ALL Media, DVD, CD, USB, unplug, remove battery, plug in, reboot.

Try these troubleshooting instructions:
  • Reinstall your video driver
  • Check for registry issues
  • Start the computer in safe mode and run System Restore
  • Removing the graphics driver in safe mode might work for you. Just remove it via Device manager.

start up in safe mode with networking, then try to run malwarebytes as antivirus programs are virtually useless this day in age. If that doesn't catch it try hitman pro and after it is removed run ccleaner to fix the registry. If all of that doesn't pan out you need to do a full wipe/reinstall of the OS on the HDD

My toshiba satellite just stopped working after installing kaspersky internet security. what should I do?
If it still boots, try hitting F8 during startup and see if you can boot safe mode (I'm assuming you're using Windows) and if so, use add-remove programs to uninstall the software.

If it doesn't boot at all then you might have a different problem altogether.

Easist way to disable he password is to, restart the Pc, as it is starting up hit F8 key repetitively until you get into the boot menu. Once in the boot menu, look for Start in Safe mode, Once you start the Pc is safe mode You should get to the log on screen, It should show 1 new user, Know as Admin- The password- If there is one will be, admin or admin doesn't work try signing in with out any password.Once logged in go to your control panel and the into User Acct and disable the Password! Hope this helps!

Hello my laptop seems to be looping
Try with the Last Known Good Configuration. if that does not work. back up imp files frm the desktop, My Documents n C:\ drive. perform a repair installation on the C:\ Drive alone. this should fix the issue. as some boot files are corrupted.

first of all have you recently added any new hardware to your pc i.e graphics card ..sound card if so start up in safe mode then remove the driver using the add and remove feature in the control panel......if this was the cause of the problem it should now ok
