Question about Toshiba 46H83 46" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Cant find one on here but I think other RPs function the same way so her goes. Just got a pre owned Toshiba 57WT29B Rear Projection TV. Worked fine in previous owners home. Worked fine in mine for 24 hours. Now sound intermittently cuts out for about 2 seconds on analogue, digital even DVD. Everything else (picture etc) remains ok but the sound loss is annoying. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for your input Argent. I suspected something had come loose or failed. However after posting my fault and out of sheer frustration I carried on trawling the net on a wing and a prayer.
I found a tip recommending I simply manually turn off the set and unplug it for half an hour to reboot or reset itself. I thought nothing lost so did this whilst trawling the net. The set was left turned off and unplugged for about an hour. Touch wood, the set has been fine since switching back on. Thank you!
What cat can I say providence well and truly tempted. No sooner had I posted its fixed by unplugging the fault is back. Arghhh!
Get out of bed, switch on TV and seperate UK Sky digital receiver box and the TV appears ok. However switch over to analogue channels or the TVs internal freeview digital channels and the sound repeatedly comes on and goes off completely. Switch back to Sky digital the sound fault remains. I've been through the instruction manual umpteen times and everything appears to be set up correctly. Is it me or the set?
