SOURCE: Computer Shuts down and won't start up

yes it could be, although the hdd wouldnt work either, unplug the 21 pin connector from the power supply unit that is connected to the motherboard power connector and see if the plastic plug has melted into the socket, if you cant pull it out theres a good chance it has.

SOURCE: 880GM-E43. Worked without a problem for

I'd have to agree; bad power regulator on the motherboard.
The board is getting some power (3-5v) since the CPU fans move, but it's not getting the 12v it needs to power the processor, RAM, etc. (No onboard power LED). Sorry for the bad news!

Why is my computer randomly freezing at east once a day?

Most likely you have swollen capaciters on your motherboard. They are the round barrel components and look at the top of them to see if they are bulging and not flat. If so they need replaced. Or replace your motherboard.
If you think its software download iobits.com free cleaner its a great malware and software program to keep your system running top notch. Also make sure your drivers are up to date. Also uninstall all programs you dont need or use first. Hope this helps.

Acer Aspire Z5610

You may try inserting a wireless or wired mouse in to a USB port to get some activity. As long as your screen comes up, the movement of the screen should be taken over by the mouse and temporarily bypass the touch screen application. You need to go to Acre, at their Web Site and download the drivers to allow the touch screen to operated. If after all your efforts fail; the unit needs a professional technicians services.

My usb ports suddenly stop working...i plug and unplug my mouse and it works for seconds...then again stops...and again and again and again the same thing...

make sure the battery is good ((has full charge))also you make sure the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable) or if its a lead
make sure the lead from the mouse has a secure seating and the lead is not bad/faulty
((if applicable)) if this fails to fix the problem you could try it in safe mode
restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to mice and other pointing devices you might see a yellow exclamation mark ! or question mark ? or a red x right click to update driver
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the driver could be on it
hope this helps

Windows stop and nothing happin

hi If able to load win XP or any operating system that mean your system is booting and is in good condition. if there is issue with load of OS in normal mode then you try using last used configuration. follow this steps
1) keep press F8 when bios screen goes off until you see win xp option
2) then choose "last used configuration".
it will try to boot the system even though the system does boot properly then repair the os by booting xp dvd or cd from cd & dvd drive.
i hope this will resolve the issue.

Mouse suddenly stopped working

1: Make sure the battery or batteries in your mouse are good.
2: If there is a USB dongle plugged into a USB port on your computer, unplug it, wait 3 or 4 seconds and plug it back in.
3: If the above two steps don't work, shut down your computer completely and start it back up again.
Your problem should be solved:

Computer not working

Hello,
This is usually a problem with memory, either video memory or ram. Try another good ram first, if nothing changes, then try a different video card.

Good luck and hope this solves your problem.
