Both controls half way is a good default setting..
BUT towards a ..warmer freezer.. puts .MORE. air to your refrigertor side...
helping it out more
You can put you hand agaist the vent and feel the difference
Most people frist thing they do when frig gets warm is turn up freezer setting... cutting even MORE air off to refrigertor....
Its just a adjustable flap ...turned towards ..colder.. freezer ..CLOSES... that flap off to the refrigertor cutting cooling in frig.
ps make sure you fan in freezer is Blowing when frig. is running also fan in back by compressor

It seems to me that it is the right way to go. When I open the freezer, I could see ice all over the vent opening.
No air was coming to the refrigerator, although the damper wa open.
I might as well defrost the unit over night then we'll see by morningb what happens.
If the freezer control is up, it might mean that
other 1/2 might have made a mistake inadvertently. How would I reset that in any events?
Kind regards
Thanks for the lead!!!
Plainly speaking the lower the setting on your freezer, let's say 4 will push out more air into my refrigerator?
There is 1 fan on the other side of the compressor, it runs at times.
It was quite a frost by the vent opening in the freezer. I start to see some aluminum type of radiator like now. I'll wait till the morning to assess the situation. I will keep you posted.

I'll check to see if there is a fan by the compressor. I do not recall seeing one.

It seems to be working fine now. Cold air is flowing in the refrigerator.
It is always good to tap into the resources first. I was told that I need a service call and the control unit will need to be replaced. In the meantime, they would probably require you to unplug the unit after changing the control and allow defrosting overnigt which would have solved the problem by itself.
Thanks for all your help.
