HP 2727nf MFP software cannot be install through network

Are you installing SOFTWARE over network (i.e. from remote server) or you're installing your MFP over network? The latest means that you're installing software on your machine from CD/DVD/Image/etc and trying to connect to your MFP over network.

Unable to print from laptop to HP Photosmart C3188

Did you try adding the printer using Administrator privs? Just go to the Control Panel > Printers > Run As Administrator > Add Printer. This process gave me access to the network printer. Unfortunately, MS Word will not work at all if the network printer is setup as the default and not added by the administrator.

Can't print from my mac to my canon mp980 wireless printer

Sounds like when you added xp you inadvertently installed new print driver on server.
Try rolling back driver. But may drop xp from printing.

Best solution network printer to router bypass server. Will require hard wire from printer to router. disconnect from server may need network card for printer.

Unable to see wireless connection

I would actually need more information on your problem:
  1. Which OS are you using (WinXP, Vista, Linux, Mac)?
  2. Do you have a wireless network (infrastructure mode) at home or do you try to set up an Ad-hoc network (Computer to printer only)?
  3. If you have a wl network, which router are you using?
You can look for yourself, if you like at the support web page from HP, which gives you different scenarios. Check here.

...and while you're on it...see here, if there are any driver updates available for your printer.

If this suggestion didn't fix your problem, come back here with more information and I'd be happy to help.

Good luck!

Cannot connect using Appletalk protocol

Given that this issue is three years old, and AppleTalk protocol is no longer even supported, it probably should be laid to rest.
