To exit showroom mode the cooktop must be locked by pressing and holding the key symbol for five seconds. After the cooktop is locked, press and hold the melt touch pad for five seconds.

Cause:

Universal OFF key failure

Troubleshooting:

If the controls are wet or water made contact with them, dry off the controls.
Turn off then back on to reset.
If the error persists, reset the unit at the circuit breaker.

Miele cooktop induction KM 6350, 6380, 6382, 6383 dE mode
How to switch off demonstration mode
Press ‘power’ button on front and ‘lock’ bottom at same time until you get p5 mode displaying ( it is in programming) mode.
Then press top left to ‘0’, bottom left panel to ‘0’, then press right bottom panel to 9, then press on ‘power’ button to save. This should take it off demonstration mode.

dont keep using it

if that Miele Cooktop induction type or other types
is NOT working the way the user manual says its should with the correct pots and pans

have an electrician check it out

Miele induction stovetop error FE31? It caused my fuse to blow but now can't get it to work. Any ideas?

Finally I found the meaning of FE 31.
FE31 means "control panel is dirty" or "some object is on the control panel"
When error code FE31 appear on the control panel, clean the control panel area with clean wet paper towel or remove any object on the control panel.
If you do not trust me, turn on the cooktop and put small piece of paper towel on control panel. You cannot see FE31 error code soon. Turn off the cooktop and remove the piece of paper towel, the error code EF31 will disappear.

I turned my power off and when I turned it back on my Miele 5733 is beeping and giving me a 30 error code. How do I make it stop?

No handbook? Go online to the main Miele importer HQ or go to Miele in Germany website and usually there are handbooks to download. If not message Miele service centre and they will help.
