Our ge profile side by side is just one year old, yet yesterday we noticed that the ice maker is not working. We cleaned out the ice bin from any large clumps of ice and turned the ice maker off then on, and even set the outside panel to "quick ice", and yet today there is no ice. How do we fix this? The water is dispensing okay, so we know that the ice maker is getting water.

clean the coil behind the fridge or under the fridge (where ever they are) and make sure both fans are running, the one in the freezer and the one underneath freezer needs to be 0 degree F to start ice maker
during periods of high humidity and or high use, it is not unusual to notice frost on surfaces in the freezer. the ICM is susceptible due to it being metal and having warm(compared to freezer temp) water in it. make sure the doors ar closed tight and nothing is stuck in the gasket area. J
