I just came across this post. Hopefully you have it solved. But for others who may run into this problem here is my advice. This model has a low oil sensing system. Over time the oil breaks down or gets contaminated. This can cause sympoms very akin to carb issues. I'd check this 1st as its the easiest fix. Drain and replace oil to the factory recommended specs. Make sure it is to the proper level. Your not finding any carb issues makes this almost a sure thing. DO NOT DISCONNECT or DISABLE the sensor or you defeat its purpose.

I did not understand how you turn on generator, as it is always turned on.
If you use the ON/OFF switch it is stopping the prime mover.
If you reset the AC breaker without load, and it stops - it means that you have short circuit after the breaker. Check the output receptacles.
