Do not use wd-40 on your bearings. That will only clean it and dilute the bearing grease that came with it from the manufacturer, thus hindering it's longevity. Axle/bearing grease is the only solution here. And as mentioned, 100% silicone lube between the belt and deck. Ensure to properly tension the belt so it does not let the roller slip, while in use, and possibly burn the belt.

SOURCE: What kind of lube should be used for the bearings and walking belt of a proform 625 treadmill?
1) for deck belt use 100% silicone LUBE
2) for bearing use WD-40 Or similar.

SOURCE: treadmill says to lube belt,
Horizon treadmills need a silicon lubricant, placed between the underside of the walking belt and the deck board that it slides across. This should be done about once a year ;o)
