Nokia 6680 chared the nokia over night now ill not turn on totaly dead, was working yesterday fine, checked the battry thats ok even changed the battry still dead. got it off ebay put a new sim card in 3 worked ok was going to put credit on it today Heeelp please.

the battery is dead the alternator is most likely bad and did not charge the battery and thats why u needed a battery

try letting it die completely and i mean dead wont even try and turn on dead, then leave it on a charger over night and see if that help

Is your set plugged into a tv via scart sockets if so check the connections movement often unseats them and turns off sound and picture etc : If they are ok check that the sound is turned on in the menu and on the menu of the television set , low battries in a remote sometimes give the wrong signals and it causes many problems like this as it changes settings without you knowing crazy but true , when I was a field engineer I used to travel round an reset scores of sets Tv,s Video,s and other Infra red remote equipment with the same fault all because of low battries . If this dosen't work sorry to say a local service engineer to check out the set may be your best course of action .. Regards Vortash

try putting it on a battry charger over night . when boosting the newer jimmy and car you need to make sure you have a very good constion . they will full you sometime and look at your fueses insde and out ok have a good day

Some good advice from someone who has been looking for this solution for many months, FORGET jumper solutions because you are just wasting your time with this and forget reheating the board as well.
I do not have a diagram to upload but those of you should know where the black bga chip is on the left hand side of the keypad system connector, that is all you have to replace, no jumpers needed. I have just finished my fourth N70 in this way, just change the chip and nothing else.
you can also find the chip on 6680 board.

do a master reset on the phone....that should help

reset phone by *#7370# that should work for most probs.
