F1 I have had my Kenmore Oasis Washer for about a year and it just started to show the error F1. What does this mean?

One year old Kenmore Oasis Elite top load. I have the same F1 problem. when you start the machine it will start water and go straight to the F1 code. If you stop and start a few times it will work. Hot and Cold water at inlet are fine. When I went throught the diagnostic procedure I get an F and then 68.

I also have a Sears Kenmore Elite Oasis for one year and one month and I just had the same thing happen today. I called Sears and they told me that the next available appointment would be in threee weeks and that I would have to pay for a service cal l. They also had me down as purchasing the set in 2005 instead of 2006.
Is this a joke or are these machines made to work only for a year!!
What happened to their quality??

I have the same problem purchased 12/13/06. F1 error and F2 error and now C error. Called sears today and out of warranty one month ago.

Hi everybody,
We had the same Kenmore OASIS ERROR F51 as described in many postings. We had 3 visits from Sears and at the last visit two weeks ago we requested the replacement of the the RPS sensor a $ 45 sparepart and the problem was solved. The machine can be loaded to brim and works just fine.

I went thru the press/hold process 3x's and now get a F-32 flashing, but still nothing. now what do I do?

Jenkle, F then 1 flashes when there is a primary control failure. There is a couple of things you can try. 1. Unplug the machine for 2 minutes and see if the error returns. If it does, try activating the auto diagnostic mode. With the washer plugged in and all indicator lights off, select any key except power, start and stop. Here's what you do; press/hold for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press/hold for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press and hold for 3 seconds. If you did it right all indicators will light and 88 will appear in the display. If there are any faults, they will then display, look for a F-60 through 68. This will confirm the board is corrupt. If no faults are found the machine will go through a five minute automatic test cycle. To stop the test, just press stop/cancel. Check your owners manual and see how long the board is warranteed. Hello,

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .

f1 means your rotor or main pc.b bord has a fault i would start by having the p.c.b control bord replaced there $ 120 in australia

My kenmore oasis shows the f1 upon starting the machine and at 23 minutes and often shows th ul why is this

Mine is doing the same exact thing. Just after I press "Start", the F1 starts beeping. Then at 23 minutes into the cycle, it does it again. So frustrating! What is wrong with this machine?

F1 error code on Kenmore Oasis He

I think there might be a recall on your washer call to see. I am not for sure that there is a recall but I a m pretty sure there is. So don't quote me on that. the f1 error code usually means that you have a bad board. f1 means that your pressure switch line is failing and this is all in your board. check your owners manual if whirlpool is not going to pay for this repair sometimes there are extended warranties in your manual

Kenmore Oasis HE shuts off during wash cycle and gives F1 error

F1 error means the main control computer board. see other posts in this section as there are many who are complaining about the same problem. buying the new board (revised) will solve the F1 problem, but other problems will soon crop up on this POS washer. if you have the chance to return it to sears, return it immediately!!!!
