Once you delete something from a phone it's very difficult to retrieve (next to impossible actually) but their may be hope if you backed up your phone to iTunes you can go into iTunes at the main screen where it displays your phone info there will be a button to restore your phone to a previous backup (you may have to restore your phone to get the restore backup option to appear) a full tutorial can be found at the iTunes support page under backup restore PS: hopefully you backed up your phone before you trimmed your memos the backups are time stamped

Try changing to eco mode.

At the base unit press the MEMO button, then press one of the mailbox buttons(MAILBOX 1, MAILBOX 2, or MAILBOX 3) begin recording into the MIC at a adistance of 8 inches after the long beep. This is the end-of-tape signal. Try turning the cassette over. If this does'nt work then there is no tape drive due to the belt coming loose or breaking.

Download an app called DBscan and run the scans. Then let it fix any problems it finds. This should help. Also, if you have synced before, you can try a hard reset, then re-sync. Another thing to try is the hard reset and sync if the Database on the PC is not corrupted...

you need to perform a custom hotsync to overwrite all files on the computer

1. Click on the ‘Hotsync Manager’ icon and choose ‘Custom’.
2. Highlight the ‘Datebook’ conduit and click ‘Change’.
3. Select ‘Handheld overwrites desktop’ and click ‘OK’.
4. Repeat these steps for the ‘Address’, ‘Todo’, ‘Memo’ and ‘System’ conduits.
5. ‘Install’ and ‘Install Service Templates’ should be ‘Enabled’.
6. Perform a ‘Hotsync’ operation by pressing the button on the Hotsync® Cradle, or Cable.

Now that the files are on your computer you need to sync them into the new palm

Same steps but this time Desktop Overwrites handheld

1. Click on the ‘Hotsync Manager’ icon and choose ‘Custom’.
2. Highlight the ‘Datebook’ conduit and click ‘Change’.
3. Select ‘Desktop overwrites Handheld’ and click ‘OK’.
4. Repeat these steps for the ‘Address’, ‘Todo’, ‘Memo’ and ‘System’ conduits.
5. ‘Install’ and ‘Install Service Templates’ should be ‘Enabled’.
6. Perform a ‘Hotsync’ operation by pressing the button on the Hotsync® Cradle, or Cable.

You need to record the OGM message not the memo. Memo is used for just that. You can leave a memo for your other half, child, etc.

The OGM is what callers here when getting your answering machine.
