My sister was taking a picture on my motorola vrmaxx when it hung up, she folded the lcd and then the phone shuts down, now I can't even turn my phone on. I tried to charge the battery but the red led indicator doesn't appear. I plugged it on my laptop hoping to recover my contacts but it said that I have to turn my phone on, red led indicator was on.
How can I turn it on, or at least recover all the contacts I have there?

Hard to diagnose without inspecting the phone. But there can be 2 causes. INspect the POWER ON button. Make sure that it is not pushed in and stuck. To test this you can just take out the battery and then insert it back in. Does the phone turn on by itself??
The other cause is water damage. Hopefully your are handy to open and inspect your phone.
sounds like loads of issues, first take the phone to a mobile service center or mobile tech close to you , have them reflash the firmware on the phone and also replace the keyboard, this should correct all those issues and make the phone stop being like a physco...LOL
I'm having the same trouble, and I've found it's because the v3 no longer recognizes the opening and closing of the phone itself. You see, when you close it, something is triggered that tells the phone to shut off the main screen and change the outer screen to the usual mode where it shows the time. You can also test this by trying to take a picture and closing the phone - the external lcd no longer doubles as a second camera display to easily take pictures of yourself.
I dropped mine into the toilet, and I'm not sure if there's anything to do but take it to a tech. Sounds and looks like a hardware problem to me.
