Soltek 75frv
I had this problem. The sound driver is on the Soltek Mainboard Driver CD that comes with the motherboard. I am pretty sure you have to install the VIA drivers first - the order of installation is important. Hope this helps.

SOLTEK has gone bankrupt.
Their web-site is "down".
So, there is *NO* "support" available from SOLTEK.

I am not a lawyer, but since DRIVER GUIDE is offering a service for a fee, it probably is legal for them to charge a fee.

The chipset doesn't support Serial ATA so Soltek has added a Promise PDC20376 controller to provide Serial ATA Raid.

if you dont wish to send the hard drive back get usb external box which can support SATA drives

SOLTEK has gone bankrupt.
Their web-site is "down".
So, there is *NO* "support" available from SOLTEK.

However, the "line out" socket on the back-panel (or the front-panel) can be connected to a set of headphones, if you have the correct cable.
