Question about Electrolux EOG7330WN Gas Double Oven

1 Answer

Tripped out when the oven gets hot, the fans come on but it has tripped out on a number of occasions. I've had an engineer out, who pressed a reset button behind oneof the knobs, but I can't seem to find anything, does anyone have any clues to the location or what the reset button looks like, or why an oven 18 months old should trip out regularly? Thanks

Take off the oven knob, behind is a piece of plastic - the reset switch is behind that.
you have to poke a smal screwdriver in and should hear a small click

Jtp45 lower oven hot heating on any cycle

Possibly a tripped thermal fuse. Should be located behind the panel in between the upper and lower ovens. Might have a red reset button on it you can push down. If it clicks and then works again, look for possible cooling fan problems.

Have beko D533W electric cooker oven not heating up fan still working

Generally speaking, if the fan is working o/k, then it is usually the fan oven element that has failed.
This is usually located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

My zanussi FM9232 fan assisted oven is not heating up, the fan is working

Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Zanussi manual.
If you're Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Oven does not work after self clean

Hello,

Sorry to hear you`ve had an ongoing issue like this. Can you tell me what the model number is of your oven ? Can you also maybe touch on what step`s have been taken in the past when this occur`s ?

Depending on the model and vintage of your oven, it likely has tripped the hi-limit thermostat. The good new`s is it is typically easy to reset as it is a manual reset type hi-limit as opposed to one time non-reset. Also this hi-limit is either located on side, back, or behind the grill between the oven door and control panel/fascia. Let`s hope for the later.

**Always shut off power to the unit before performing any service/repairs**

If it is indeed just a tripped hi-limit as I suspect, ( it is common after self clean cycles on many ranges/ovens, not just Thermador ) I have a few tip`s and suggestion`s after you`re up and running, but we`ll cross that bridge when we get there.

I`ll watch for your reply. Good luck.

DACOR IS A PEICE ****

The hi limit thermostat probably tripped during self clean. It can be manually reset. Turn off the power and remove the grill under the control panel. There is a two wire switch behind the door latch press in the red button on the switch. Reassemble and turn on the power. If it works you can reset the cooling fan to run longer which could cure your problem. Press and release upper broil button, press and release the up arrow, then hold down the broil button until it reads COOL 000. Press the up arrow until it reads COOL 200. Press cancel. Done.

Lights grill and fan work but oven isnt heating up

Hi there,

On our oven, we have to reset the clock before the oven will work. I think it's because of the automatic timer features.

Yours is a slightly different model, but on ours we have to press the two buttons with arrows on, at the same time as turning the clock dial. Once this is done, the oven should work again.

Good luck.
