Question about TruTech PLV16320 Television
Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the board that the power cord is hooked to.If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should get it working again.I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know.Thank You very much! I called 888-252-6252, they said they'd repair my two year old PLV 16320 for $145 and pay shipping both ways. After checking locally, I decided that was the best I could do. Most of them didn't even want to look at it cuz it wasn't a name brand.
BTW it wasn't the power supply fuse. I checked it after removing a bazillion screws. Hardest piece of electronic gear I've ever taken apart tho mechanically it's very stout.

Same problem. No red lite when connected to a known good outlet. TruTech's website suggestion of plugging in to a known good outlet and nothing else if that fails to correct the problem is next to useless.
We bought our daughter a TruTech TV for her college dorm less than a year ago. It just stopped working, the red light does not even go on, tried other outlets and cable, still no luck. It is so unfair to spend so much money on a tv that you think is reputable and then one day it does not work in less than 1 year. Extremely frustrated!!!!!!!
