You need to have a fault code test run on the transmission control module (TCM) as a first step to seeing what is going on here.

Re-torque the wheel nuts.
Inspect the engine foundations.

Is this a petrol or diesel version ,also what year ?? these opels can and do suffer from a dodgy computer on the older models especially the petrol versions

drain an clean out ur injector pump,..it doesant like water also remove ur in ejectors and get the checked out by garage or replace them new ones

my Vauxhall combo van keeps on blowing the windscreen wipers fuse what can cause this sometime there working for a round ten mins then blow the fuse

Bleed the fuel filter by un doing the small bolt at / near top of the fuel filter and hand pump (If fitted) till diesel squirts out.

This is usually an immobiliser fault try a different ignition key

This sounds like a problem in the fuel shut off circuit. When you turn the key on, it energizes the fuel shut off solenoid on the injection pump. When you turn off the key, power is removed and the pump is moved by spring to the fuel off position. Check for power at this terminal when you are having a problem, ( with the key on) If no power then I would check the wiring and connectors from this connection to the Ignition key. I believe it is wired direct. That can be checked at http://www.alldata.com/products/index.jsp

subscribe3 and get a wiring schematic for the car and see if it is wired direct to the ign switch of from a relay, I am sure it is a connection problem if you have no power.

A 1.7 diesel even if turboed, is dead slow in any vehicle let alone a van. Enjoy the fuel economy

The speed-limiter is likely to be enabled via the ECU. Removing the limiter is a five-minute job if you have access to the GM Tech 2 electronic management/diagnostic tool.

If the van is yours then there's no legal requirement for the limiter. You could just book it in at a Vauxhall dealer for the limiter to be removed. They may charge you for an hour's labour though. Still worth doing in my opinion.
