Freezing every time i want to type a message or type anything my phone will freeze after i type the secind letter

See if your provider will give you another phone.

My LG Versa kept freezing up too...Call Verizon and have them tell you what software version is on your phone currently. I then took took it to the Verizon store and had it 'flashed' because there was a newer version for mine...it took about 25 minutes...worked fine...no more freezing up.

When typing a text message or entering info in the phone book...phone always freezes on the 3rd letter...and the only way to get out of the freeze is to take the battery out and turn the phone back on once the battery is put back in....why does the phone freeze?

i would guess that when you droped it you knocked something loose is it still under a warenty? if so i would return it for a new one if not take it into a shop

My LG keeps doing that, did you figure out what was wrong with it, I fear a virus...but I haven't found any information on it. I type a couple letters, and it freezes. I call out, and if it connects, I can't hang up, have to pull battery. If I can call out, it freezes within three seconds and restarts itself, while I'm still talking! Can only text if I send animation, letter, animation, letter, animation, letter...takes very long time!

try deleting some text messages, especially your outbox and unused files on your phone.

it seems like this is a firmware issue or conflict between the softwares or whatever your may have downloaded. You can repair it yourself, but be careful not to brick / kill your phone with wrong softwares.
Your local repair shop can help you too, if its under warranty bring to store to flash for free.

I would reset the phone to factory settings and start over. Do you have the manual?

Do you have too many text messages stored on your phone? I had a phone like that, If when I neared the storage limit it would stop allowing any entering of text messages. Just go to the menu button when your in the text message area and press the menu key, scroll down to cleanup messages, select it and delete them all.
