Superba kitchenaid fridge not very cold, freezer is fine
Our Superba Fridge isn't as cold as the computer indicates. We can set it to 33 or up to 40 degrees, but the fridge is not that cold. The freezer side is fine. Any tips?
p.s. we had the motherboard in the computer replaced, and it was better for awhile, but isn't cold enough now.

Even though the freezer thermistor passes the test, it's bad. The test only sees if the thermistor is open circuit or grounded. These thermistors can send bad information to board. Replace the freezer thermistor and I think that will solve your issue. Good Luck
check the damper vent door for proper opening and closing as if this door is frozen shut or broken and jammed it cant open to let cold air in from freezer it will be behind a plastic grille between the freezer and fridge compartments and you should hear a fan in there running to move cold air too
are the lights on and if so the power is ok . can you hear a clicking noise . if so it can be the compressor trying to start . and inside the freezer you should be able to hear the fan and under neath also ther is fan that should be going ck for a clean coil .. mm hopt some of these help you .. mm
Assuming that your fridge is set at max thermostat setting, and still it cools to 8 degrees only. It only mean one thing, and that is have your refrigerant level check, and have it loaded. E-mail to us your comments.
You have something wrong with the vent going from the freezer to the fridge. You probably have a defrost problem and ice is blocking the vent that goes from the freezer and comes out in the roof of the rerigerator compartment. Replace your defrost timer and bimetal.
The #1 cause for this problem: The floor beneath the fridge is uneven, causing the refrigerator "box" to be out of square. Adjust the levelers on the fridge bottom to compensate for the uneven floor. That should do it.
Things to check
Check freezer...
for Frost build up and if Fan is blowing,
Check condenser...
To make sure clean, and the fan is blowing by compressor & IF it is running
Check Recirclating Vents in refrigerator... to make sure theres no blockage,
CONTROLS ...should be in the middle setting,
YOU CAN TRY turning FREEZER CONTROL
To A WARMER FREEZER SETTING
Allowing.. MORE AIR.. to refrigertor side
The fridge turns on but the fridge and freezer won't get cold
