I hit a button on my interior keypad and now the entire phone is locked and keeps asking for the unlock code. I never set a code and it won't accept the default codes. I have information in the phone that I absolutely cannot lose. Is there a way to reset the lock code without completely resetting my phone?
Is it asking for a PUK code? Because if so, you'll need to call your wireless providers help line and they'll give you all the codes necessary. Is it asking for a PUK code? Because if so, you'll need to call your wireless providers help line and they'll give you all the codes necessary.

Type in that last four digits of your phone number. If that doesn't work, type in any codes that you have ever set on that phone. That includes the voicemail code. Try that, too, cuz you never know. If that doesn't work, try the pound key or the star.
On the front keypad, press the ok button until you have the option to select contact list. Scroll down that list until you see keyguard settings. Press ok to enter keyguard settings and then go to option 2 - unlock options. Select two step unlock. This will force the user to press "ok" and then "clr" in order to dial out. This has resolved the problem for me...Good luck.
Hi i have the same phone and i had that problem. Have you tried going to settings then click the more button then click security and Auto Screen Lock. There are 5 options you can choose from click off and that should fix it.
the only options Ive found for this are if you hit a button with the slider closed it asks if you want to unlock the keypad. Then you hit the right top button (says "ok") and it unlocks...this stays like this until you open and then close the slider. This is the only way I know of to unlock the keypad, I have not found any other way in settings menu or anywhere else. Good luck!!
