You need to replace both of your convergence ICs STK392-110s
use 120s Mats has them 1-800-628-1118 Check Low ohm resistors near ICs 1.8ohms 3.9ohms 2.7ohms etc... RK48 RK50 RK54 RK58 RK60.
On front of convergence board is a blue contact switch this is how you enter convergence pattern R/G/B to adjust convergence,
you can remove Front bottom panel and see the contact switch from front of TV With TV on Press and release then Pattern should come up. When you call Mats ask if they have Convergence Kit that has ICs and resistors in it!
Do you have audio and if so can you change channels to hear other programs? If so ...you have a bad vertical IC. Have a tech turn up the screen control to see a white horizontal line. By your question I would say this will correct the problem.
This could be attributed to tuning reception of your tv. If your using antenna only, it is most probable. If cable, check your line.
If this is a crt type, moving that tv with that size could somehow bend its circuit board. Loose connection is a probability. Could be some minor component is detached from solder. This can be attributed to tuner and vertical IC.
this is a light engine problem and it is a recall for toshiba. Call them and they need to give u a new light engine.....even though u will have other problems after they do that.
My television has wavy lines running from corner to corner
it is due to power supply fileration is not proper.
this might be due to your main filter capacitor.please take the help of tech person.
Is this fixable or time for new one.
it is fixable & not a major problem.
no need to buy new one.
good luck.
No. You have bad convergence output ic;s and probably at least 1 burnt resistor. This liely will have to be reconvergec in the servcie menu after the aprts are changed.
dont know for sure but i think that the tube is going bad. Have one in my shop doing almost the same thing.Taped on the tube and it does strange things. My tube tester wont test this kind of tube that is in these sets. Not much help but it is a start.
