It does one of three things when I push to turn it on:
1. Turns on to the iLO logo, goes completely black, shows the iLO logo again, then repeats until shutting off.
2.Turns on to the iLO logo, then turns off.
3.Doesn't respond at all.

Depending on your version of windows, I would trying starting in safe mode to see if the computer does boot. If it does, then you want to restart again, go to advanced boot options and select "start windows with last known good configuration." Access advanced boot options following the steps at this link. I had the same problem, i took it to a tv repair shop and the said it would be 3-$400 to fix so i just bought a new one but the repair man said the the main board the one with all the inputs and the power supply were bad. U can buy the main board for about $150 and fix it ur self... bth the power supply also cost about $150 as well but i would replace the main board first and see if that fixes ur prob
ur unit is overheating turn off and unplug and let cool down,clean vents around fan intake (under unit) and around top each side of keyboard when cool enough plug back in and listen for fan operation while booting up if no fan it may be stuck or burnt up and may need replacement but ur biggest problem will be the hard drive if it was overheated for to long could or is damaged good luck hope ur lucky and that it just got hot
We had the same problem with the 17" we bought in Aug. Sent it back for repair. Acer sent it back without fixing the problem. Started doing it again in Nov. This time I called a supervisor and they sent me a new monitor. Well yesterday it started doing the same thing. You can fix it temp buy unplugging it and holding down the on-off switch for 30 seconds. Please let me know if you have a better fix.
