Unfortunately you will need to go the AT&T store or call AT&T customer service, your SIM card got corrupt and you will need to have it replaced, good news at least it wont cost you anything.

IMEI Problem (Need to flash your Stock ROM) 2. career/Operator. (Try to insert different operators SIM.) 3. If you have ever been tried to get root access. (Pls unroot or make flash with fresh copy of your devices ROM.)
Invalid sim means the sim card may no longer be active , faulty or the device is network locked , cheapest option is replace the card if still not functioning the issue is with the device , giffgaff will not use the same APN as O2 , that may have to be manually input
If the Nokia N70 says INVALID SIM means it locked to Network ,you need to Unlock it...Get the unlock code at here Classicunlocking.com and unlock the NOKIA N70 easily then use any GSM Network Sim card...
You go to your cell phone provider and buy a valid sim card. Either the card you are putting in the phone, is not compatible with the phone. Or the card your putting in the phone is from another provider and wont work in that phone - (the sim cards may look the same but that doesn't mean that they are programmed alike)
If your not trying your sim in a different phone and your getting the invalid sim error then it means that your sim card is no longer active or valid and you need to contact your cell phone provider to find out why.
If you have an invalid sim card you will have to go to your cell phone providors and they will give you a new sim card. It is a pretty simple and easy fix :).
The other phone may be locked to a specific Network And may not take other network sim card in it, You would need the phone to be unlocked a local phone store will do this but not manufacture.
Here is what you have to do. Get a friend that is on the same carrier as the sim card that is in your phone.
Next take your sim card out and put a friends (same carrier) sim card in and restore it. When it is done it will still be in emergency mode. When it says invalid sim put your original one back in it and after about 30 seconds it will go back to normal.
This solution just fixed my iphone 3g so this should work.
