Was suprised two cartridges ago when I installed a new cartridge from a box I had opened & got a toner-out message so quickly. Had accumulated a couple toner units to recycle & thought I maybe I turned in my good one in place of the empty. Bought another cartridge. Noticed the toner light flickering almost right away. But it printed, so I figured the machine must be cycling the toner between print jobs. Now I'm getting a toner-out msg WAY sooner than in the past. Is there a toner sensor we can clean? When you took your printer to the shop, what did they say the problem was? Either the ability of the printer to communicate with the toner chip or whatever is severely degrading over time or the quality of the cartridges is slipping, or so it seems to me.
I have the same problem - the LED of Toner is keeping on. it does't go off after replace with a new toner.
My toner is only a month old, I've had my printer for only 3 months and toner light goes on constantly! Help please!
Printech's on good drugs. There's no button there.
