USB AV Interface cord

My Dimage X50 works excellent, however, I misplaced my USB AV Interface cord ( the one that connects to the camera and a computer). I have been seaching the net for about three days and was told to get in contact with Konica Minolta support staff. Please, help me. I need to find a store that sells that interface cord. Thanks in Advance Bill

    Jackboy,

Thank you for your input. I have been to three camera stores here and none had the interface. Here in the Virgin Islands have a couple of camera stores but they don't carry accessories such as interface connections. However, the site (card reader) you referred me to was very informative and helpful. I've just order a SD card reader and some other stuff.

    Thanks alot
    Bill

My Minolta Dimage camera used a standard "mini" USB cord. These are commonly available at any computer store or online.

Cannot import pictures to my computer via the camera wizard

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

I have inserted a new sdhc 4gb card in my Dimage x 50 and have reformated but keep getting Unable to usecard

The X50 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You will need to use cards 2GB and smaller.

"Hub Overload"

If you are using a USB hub then Konica-Minolta has a warning that this problem may occur. If the USB interface is drawing too much power due to a circuit fault then you might try just uploading pictures from the memory card as a workaround. Also MMC cards work differently than SD cards so a card swap is worth trying or using an AV connector instead of a USB connector.

Software issue

You should be able to connect with a USB cable The male end may not be standard size, so you may need to locate a cable.
Once you connect the Computer will try to load your images or it will treat your Camera as another hard drive from which you can copy onto your existing system. To the process your photo just buy some image software, if your system try to open file but won't diplay image. Most printer (Ex: HP come with image software).
