Question about ViewSonic WR100 Router
Double check all the steps in th user guide to set up the router. You can download the manual from the link below: http://www.viewsonic.com/pdf/userguides/wr100-1_ug_eng.pdf You should be connected directly to the router by an ethernet cable. Do you see the led on the router for the port you are connected to lit to show you have a connection? Have you configured your PC to get it's IP address by DHCP from the router? Your address should be 192.168.1.100. Check the status of your PC lan connection in the "network connections" screen. Can you ping the router on 192.168.1.1? If this fails try resetting the router by pressing the small button on the back & try again. Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

Tips for a great answer:
1.Launch your Web browser and then type 192.168.1.1 in the address field. Click "Enter."
2.Click "Basic Settings." Input the configuration information given to you from your ISP in this screen. The settings not given by your ISP can likely be left at their default value. Click "Apply" before navigating away from this screen.
3.Click "Wireless Settings" in the menu on the left side of the screen. Enter or select the appropriate settings in the Wireless Settings dialog. Select the appropriate Security Options, then generate the security key. Click "Apply" before navigating away from the Wireless Settings dialog.
4.Reboot the router for the changes to take effect.
