I set the volume to 40. After a little while the volume starts dropping down. If you do not turn the volume back up the volume will eventually go to zero all by it self and turn off the system.

Unlock coby mid7048

  1. Turn off the unit completely.
  2. Press and hold the volume down (-) button.
  3. While holding down the volume down (-) button, press the power button to turn on the unit. Once you see Coby logo on the screen, you can release the power button, but you still need to keep holding the volume down (-) button until you see Android robot logo on the screen.
  4. The "Android system recovery" menu will appear on the screen. The volume up (+) button is used to scroll up in the menu list, while the volume down (-) button is used to scroll down. The power button is used to select and/or enter an option.

I have the coby 765, when i switch the buton to tv it is very loud even with the tv and dvd player turned completely down

Unfortunately the subwoofer should have a volume control knob, and the subwoofer for the DVD765 does not have this, that is why it is so loud, the only work around is to get an audio cable with a built in volume control knob.

I just bought a Coby home theater system 5.1 surround sound dvd/cd/ player model#765. I've got it all hooked up but I have one problem, when I want to listen to my tv stations through the home theater...

Hi - Your Home Theater System and your TV should have separate volume controls. You should be able to control each individually. Start by checking the volume level on your TV with your HTS shut-off. Turn the volume on your TV all the way down to 0.

Next, turn your HTS on and check the volume level there. Is it still loud? If so, try turning the volume down on your HTS. That should do the trick. If its not loud then you know you can control the volume on either the HTS or the TV. If this answer does not help, then please write us back with a little more detail. Thanks.

there is a nobb on the subwoofer, one is to dial down or up the sub (noob1) , and the other is to dial up or down the 5.1 speark (noob 2). turn noob 2 to the left to dial down the sound, first time i got my setup it was totally down, btw the 5.1 works wonderous if you use a home theater system. Iam using a 1,000watt sony home theater system. 100/200watt RMS per channel at 5 channel those little speakers really can handle well, I never experiance any blow outs :) Coby outdid themselfs with this system

Does remote have audio volume adjust?

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

Unfortunately, the dvd 224 doesn't have a volume adjustment. The models that do are the ones that come with 5.1 surround sound speakers such as dvd 755, dvd 937, and dvd 958 just to name a few.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

Am I forgetting something?

Your old TV took off the sound before the volume control and the new one takes it off after that control. Not much you can do without going in and doing some rewiring. You could use a VCR for your TV tuner source and then you would be able to turn down your TV sound and still get sound to your surround system. Good luck.
