Question about Pioneer SD-P50A5-K 50" Rear Projection Television
My Pioneer SD-T50W1 recently has a vertical height problem on the bottom of the screen, picture fold up and reduced by 20 percent in height. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
Usually, when a picture collapses some but not all the way, it indicates that an electrolytic capacitor has gone bad in the verrtical circuit. If the top of the picture shrinks, suspect the pump-up capacitor, but if the bottom shrinks then the coupling cap is probably going bad. This is quite an easy thing to correct, so have a qualified tech service the set.
