PIONEER SD-T50W1 VERTICAL PROBLEM

My Pioneer SD-T50W1 recently has a vertical height problem on the bottom of the screen, picture fold up and reduced by 20 percent in height. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Usually, when a picture collapses some but not all the way, it indicates that an electrolytic capacitor has gone bad in the verrtical circuit. If the top of the picture shrinks, suspect the pump-up capacitor, but if the bottom shrinks then the coupling cap is probably going bad. This is quite an easy thing to correct, so have a qualified tech service the set.

My SD P 50A3-K We unplugged it and now wont come back on to stay...we turn it on then the red lite comes on green flashes on then right back off.....Some times tv will come back on then it shuts it self off....please help thank you

Picture on my rear projection TV

Your set will one day soon not come on at all. theres several capacitors on the PIP board if your set has PIP or the capacitors in the power supply. A good tech should know where to check as this set some say is hard to work on but i quess its like anything you work on for a bit gets easyer. Call an authorized repair center for pioneer. Good Luck
