This may seem strange this router has two computers on the nework one is a laptop. Both computers can access the internet. the problem is that only the laptop can access email accounts like gmail or yahoo. I believe the other computer needs something set to do his, but I dont know what or were to check. it can go to the gmail log in page or any other internet page but cant load the gmail messages page when you enter your log in details. This is also the same for any other mail message pages as i set up a new account in hotmail on the laptop but couldent get to the messages from the other computer. The browser on the desktop is firefox but internet explorer is also installed annd can be used. Firefox is set as the default browser. Has any one any ideas how to fix this so i can access email fom the desktop.

I guess you probably aint set-up a wireless router before, what you need to do is get it connected up so you revieve local area is connected then, load internet explorer you will recieve a message like page not displayed. where you usually type in www.ebay.com for example type in the number thats on the bottom of the router ie it looks somthing like this 192.168.1.1 for example. a menu will then appear, fill in your broadband username details etc and you should be up and going, if you have problems feel free to email me,, All the best John [email protected]

SOURCE: Vista/router/wireless connection
Make sure that all the wireless cards are set in the properties to obtain an ip address automatically, dissable the wired lan adpter connections as this can confuse the router. Restart all the pc's and then right click on the wireless pc icon in your task bar and then click view wireless networks and make sure that you are connected to your network and that the internet is available, known as local & internet in Vista. open up internet explorer, go to tools, internet options and delete browsing history cookies and temp files and then refresh the page as the proxy server will need to refresh.

SOURCE: Suddenly lost internet connection on 2Wire DSL modem
hmmm...only thing that makes sense here is that your dSL is unhappy...did you check that phone line into the modem? that's what the internet light means when it's out, actually..if its not the line, then it's the modem..
not much else that is off on this.

SOURCE: e-a-mail security problem?
I have experienced this same pop-up. I have been a Yahoo mail client for the past 14 years and I can tell you with a certain level of confidence that this is something you don't need to worry a about. It's a conflict between the yahoo mail server and the yahoo messenger server.

If you want to connect to the router wirelessly you need to know the SSID or the Name of the Router (Nework Name) and the Network Key or Wep Key. The Default Wep Key is the 10 digit key located on the bottom sticker of the router. It is near the Bar Code. You can also personalize the Network Key by simly accessing the router. I've listed the steps on how to access the router incase the Network Key on the sticker is not working.
