Rear speakers I have two 6x9 blaupunkt speakers and want to install them in my 2006 cobalt. Not sure how

I don't think i've done a cobalt yet, but all cars are pretty much the same. The ywill either mount from the bottom or more likely from the top. For the top type, you have to unclip the bottom of the rear seat. Unbolt the top half of the seat. Figure out how to remove the carpeted shelf cover (sometimes have to remove side trim). Remove old speakers. Wire and mount new ones (observe proper positive/negatives).

No brackets are necessary...I believe you are talking about replacing the rear speakers located in the rear wondow shelf...Of course the speakers mount underneath the window inside the trunk...You can remove the rear seat and pull the interior trim back to view the top side of the speaker mounting...The opening is already cut for the 6X9 speaker...You can mount the top underneath the window cloth material like the factory did, or no need to remove the interior cloth if you use new top speaker covers, usually come with the speakers. What size speakers are in the doors on a 1997 jeep grand cherokee laredo

  • The factory speakers are 6x9 BUT the magnet on the factory speakers are much smaller than on aftermarket, higher quality 6X9 speaker making it almost certain the window will not roll down after installing an aftermarket 6X9.

  • Most go with a 6X5 because they are a bit smaller and there is a wider variety of them. Where ever you go to purchase that speaker. make sure the measurements are taking real well if going with another 6x9. There is always the option of the factory 6x9 but a nice aftermarket will fit in there so long as you mind the size.

2010 Toyota Camry LE Aux/CD not working When I first got the car, hitting the Aux/cd button did absolutely nothing. Used some contact cleaner to see if possibly the button had debris or was sticking but it did nothing. I inserted a cd and it spit it back out after trying to read it and will no longer accept any cd. Weird thing is now when I hit the button, it will go to CD and will constantly try to read a cd that isn't there. Though it will never show AUX when I hit the button. Tried playing through the aux cord but don't believe it will work unless I can actually get it into Aux mode via using the button. Is this something fixable or is replacing the radio the way to go?
