I have had a 2575 for about 18 mths and get the "USB not connected" all the time - even when the computer accepts the install. I originally had an XP but have bought a HP pavilion running Vista and have the same problem. On complaining to HP some months ago, a Technician rang me consistently to try all sorts of solutions which I didn't understand, but did as instructed. It did not make any difference. I bought a C3180 and had the same problem with the XP but have not tried that yet with the Vista. I like the 2575 and would like to use it. When first installed on the XP it worked on & off for a few weeks when the fancy took it, but since then it will not scan or work properly with photos. Printing and copying is fine! Hi,
I have a good news that this issue can be easily solved and HP has released a patch to fix the issue.
Just download and install the patch below:
===========
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=oj-54112-1&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1153494&dlc=en&lang=en
============
IN the download page click on the download only button and save the patch to the computer and then install it to the computer in network that you are facing the issue with..
Once the patch is installed try to add the printer by searching it in network and then the issue will be resolved.
Hope this will work for you.
Regards
Barret.

the should be a pin code in the back of the hub that you put into what you want to connect to the internet with and a admin pass so you can change the setting in the hub to let what you are using use the hub and try doing a reset the is a small pin hole in the back of the hub push a pin in for a few second to re set that works sometimes.
yes, you can. I have my printer connect to my hub and my desktop and I can print from my laptop wirelessly.
You will need your all in one connected via a printer or USB cable to a computer AND also connected to your hub. Then, go to the computer that is connected through a cable to the all in one. Your all in one should have some way to configure its IP address. I have my printer configured as 192.168.1.4 and it's plugged into the 4th port of my hub. Check if this works.
The printer scan button wouldn't work for me either. I had to install the HP Solution Center software from CD onto my Windows Vista PC then I use its scan document software button to do any scanning.
