I had the same problem, I think you were missing a driver. if you got to canon usa's page for drivers and downloads you should be able to find it :http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=314&modelid=11154

Importing Images

The CR2 suffix means that the picture was taken in the RAW file format, a proprietary format. This requires that the images be processed by a software conversion to be 'readable' by the computer. The EOS Utility software that came with the camera will work, as well as a number of third-party software packages. GOOGLE "raw file conversion Canon digital rebel" to see the options.

The other option is to take your photos in JPEG format (not RAW). Your computer can 'read' any JPEG format image.

Hi. I just tried importing my images from my canon 7d to my mac computer using the eos utility and it quit unexpectedly. I then tried again and any option I chose would reply with the word busy on the...

Based on the information you provided, it seems that issue is with the EOS Utility itself.

Uninstall the EOS Utility, restart the Computer and then install the EOS Utility again.

This should resolve the issue.

If the issue persists, check for any update for the EOS Utility and install the update to resolve the issue.

How can i print date samp in photoz..without using 4x6 photo in my canon poer shot 100s camera..

you can do that if you're doing direct printing (camera to printer) using the caera transfer settings, or if you want to save them to your omputer, you need to download the photos using the EOS utility (comes with the camera) and add the [date & time] stamp from the software settings

Problem import picts via sd cardreader (taken with eos 450d)

Some card readers struggle with high capacity (SD-HC) cards and indeed some older devices.
If you (or a friend) has a lower capacity card (less than 2GB) try that in you camera and then pc.

You can purchase a VERY cheap USB card reader (c.£10 max) and it should sort your problem - I hope!
