Micro sd flash card & external cards.

Can anyone tell me how can i install external memory cards? What is maximum size micro sd cards that I can use in this phone? and max size for external cards?

    Could anyone please tell me how to install my memory card in my Prada. It is contantly telling me that my memory is full... its driving me mad!! I am only able to get 2 songs onto my phone. I have tried everything. Please help x

If you "formatted" the card using the 'FAT16' file-system format, the maximum size is 2 billion bytes (1.87 Gigabytes).
Copy all the files onto your computer, and reformat it with the 'FAT32' file-system format, which does support your 8 billion bytes of memory.

Hello,

Exactly the same problem occurred with my San Disk 1GB micro-SD Memory Card. And I solved this problem formatting my micro-SD Memory Card using a software which you can download by clicking here.

To format your micro-sd card:

- First plug in your micro-sd card into you PC.

- Run the installed "HPUSBFW_2.2.3_MASTER.exe" file.

- In the program menu window, select the device (your memory card).

- Select FAT32 as file system,

- Confirm that all the format options unchecked. (Uncheck the quick format option)

- And click the "Start" button to begin formatting.

That's all my friend. This solved my problem and I hope this helps you too.

Can I attach an 8 GB Micro SD Card in the expansion slot of my Sansa e250? If not, what is the maximum storage size it supports?
The e250 uses microSD cards, not microSDHC cards. The maximum size of microSD cards is 2GB. Anything larger are microSDHC cards.

According to Samsung's page on this camera, the following memory can be used:

External Memory(Optional) : Micro SD (up to 4GB)
Micro SDHC (up to 8GB)

4 GB is acceptable, but I think you do not have the correct type of card. You should be using a Micro SD or "Micro Secure Digital" (up to 4GB capacity) or a Micro SDHC or "Micro Secure Digital High Capacity" (up to 8 GB capacity) card. This is very different from an SD or SDHC card. These Micro cards are very small (smaller than your thumbnail) and are often packaged with an SD adapter card. Regardless if sold with or with out the adapter, the package should say Micro SD or Micro SDHC on it somewhere.

The XLS which is not that much different and supports 4Gb as used in mine which allows me to keep maps of the US,Canada, UK, and the whole of europe on it and swap at will. I bought a cheap generic one. I do kow that those cards that use micro sd can and do have problems so best to avoid the micro type unless your device takes those specifically

What is the maximum amount of SD/MMC memory on e330
In my opinion there is no any limitation. I am pretty sure that you can use 1GB SD Card without any problems. Only thing that can happen is that access to your data can be a little bit slower.
