First of all, please give an exact description of what is happening with your set. Is it completely dead? Does it try starting but then shuts down? Is there a picture but it is distorted? The main power supply in your set has many parts in it, including a transformer, swithcing IC, caps, diodes, resistors, etc, which is why you cannot simply replace the "main power supply".

I've found the number for two parts distributors for Hitachi. Either of them should be able to find the right part number for you, and sell you the part.

However, they aren't open on weekends.

    Pacific Parts
    1-800-421-5080

    Cumberland Electronics
    1-888-501-9658

I will be sure to call them back on Monday... but being that it's labor day they still may not be open. If they're not, I'll call them on Tuesday.

However, I wanted to give you the numbers so you could call them. Yes, the power supply does have many parts in it, but that does not mean it cannot be purchased as an assembly. I'd suggest pricing it before you decide whether you want to try to fix it on the component level as MikeJH1964 suggests.

Hello My Hyundai TV's display is breaked... the whole display is breaked in two..in the bottom part no display and only rainbow colour lines..and on the upper part the picture is coming but the colours...

Hyundai: If it's an LCD TV, the panel has been impacted and is not repairable.

You didn't provide enough information about the other TV to answer. It could be the power supply or the Main board. Price would depend on which one is bad, and model number.

Magnavox RS2080 no power / switch not working?

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Sanyo dp52440

Its one of 3 boards that are bad, the power, main or BL inverter. If your tech savvy I can give you some information to determine what board is bad if you aren't then you will need to take it in for service or order one board if it doesn't fix it order another but some boards are somewhat expensive on your set, for example the main will set you back about 125 with shipping.

My Emerson HDTV 32 inch sound stopped working all together. The picture is fine, but there's no sound.

everything with sound picture av component has to do with the main board of the tv not the power supply the only thing you can do its replace the main board not the power supply board or anything else cause it may be only a resistor or a capacitor but to replace it the guy that comes to do it will charge more than replacing it go to www.shopjimmy.com and check your tv model and it will give you what you need and the price and cheaper than the manufacturer

Blinking green light on a projection wide screen tv sill not turn on even with a system reset function any ideas?

A couple of things:
1) Power supply issues - most costly fix.
2) Horizontal Output Transistor went out 'HOT' - not a bad or costly repair/fix.
3) Flyback 'which supplies the 3 crt's' their High voltage.
Semi expensive repair/fix.
I would call and contact a few TV repair Service shops in town or your area and see if they can give you an estimate of repair.

NO Picture or Sound on my FLM 26-32

Either one of two problems, the main power supply has an issue or has gone bad. 'Not supplying the correct voltages to your processing/controlling board' or that you are having problems with your processing/controlling board. My guess is the main power supply board.
A Good TV Service Shop would give you an idea of what the cost of repair should be. Call around.

I HAVE A SANYO CLT2054. THE SCREEN IS FADING. WHAT PART DOES IT NEED AND IS THE PART EASY TO REPLACE. OR SHOULD I JUST GET A NEW HD?

Most problems can be solved by replacing the power suppy. Try this first before you pay an outrageous price to fix it, I've had to repair 12 tv's that had problems from fading to flickering pictures. This most always indicates a power supply problem
