Can't turn off annoying side key sounds

I just replaced a lost cingular Razr with an unlocked t-mobile Razr. Interesting how it's programmed differently, but the loud beep on the side key is driving me mad. I'm referring to the key used to change ring style. I tried going into settings turning key volume off, which works for every key except the side button. I'm about to return the phone for this sole reason. Anyone in the knowhow? Thanks

Need to remove t-mobil from phone and put in at and t.

Ok since you bought it on ebay the easiest thing to do is contact emobile at this link http://www.t-mobile.com/Contact.aspx have them unlock it. then get it hooked up to whichever carrier you wanted to use it for. these PROGRAMS you can use to unlock them will ruin your phone.

Your Cingular is locked to use with Cingular SIM only. You can obtain unlock code if you are registered owner. Also check T&C's as all network provider has different rules about unlock code.

If you are a Cingular/ATT customer in good standing, you can call them and ask them for the unlock code.

Same holds true for T-Mobile customers.

T mobile razr v3 need to unlock to AT&T

I had an opposite problem. Cingular to T-mobile. Called cingular and they refused to give me the code. I called T-mobile and since it wasn't their phone they couldn't unlock it, but said they would have been more than happy too if it was. Call T-Mobile 1-800-937-8997, and ask them if they could give you the subsidy code. If they don't you will have to get an unlock program called MotoBlaze, it costs $20, but works! You will also need a mini usb cable for the phone. If all goes well (and will), you than will need to call Cingular and have them link MMS Messaging and Medianet to your phone. Hope this helps.
