Question about Activision Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for PlayStation 3

Installation Error I got a cod4 variety map pack and i downloaded it in the background. Each time i try to install it, it says that an error occured.

For a download to download without any errors the ps3 has to stay on until the download has finished.

If you turn the ps3 off part way through a download and then turn it back on at a later date the download appears to just carry on from where it was, but it actually will give you an error message when you try to use the download.

If you have downloaded the package containing this cab file, turn off your firewall. Like wise turn off your anti virus software also for the time being. Download it again and then continue with installation. If the cab file is corrupted on the CD, you may need to find a new one. Hope this helps.

i have same problem i downloaded map pack 1 and 2 ages ago and i stoped playin cod5, i started again last night and my map packs seem to have dissapeared so i downloaded them again from previous downloads for free and i download in background fine i get to the little bubble one where i need to save it, it starts goes through to 100% then says ----- an error occurred during the install operation. (80029564) CAN ANYONE HELP?

im having the same problem its with any demo or game you get off the Playstation store that is 250mg or over or around there.
ivehave had the same problem with 2 diffrent ps3's i used to use wirless andthat wouldnt let me download anything apart from themes so i changedto ethernet and i could dl a game that was 225mg but not one that was303mg the strange thing is i downloaded the map pack for COD 4 and 5and now it wont let me i have tried runggin them in the background and leaving them on the screen i have also downloaded them without going into the shop by going on accound manager and still no luck :(.
i dont think this will be of any help justthought i would tell you :) if you do get any help please tell me cuzits getting on my nerves now :( my email is [email protected]

An error occurs during ps3 download installation

The only thing you can do is to restore the PS3 to original, then download your upgrade again.

try deleting the demo/game and downloding it again but DO NOT DOWNLOAD IN BACKGROUND! i had he same issue and i just re-downloaded it and put telly on. when i came back, the game had installed and was working fine

i think your vista dvd loading error occurred some time that problem occur because when your vista dvd is making that time some file has missed that's why this problem occur
