I need to replace my optical drive. What kind should I get? I have an Acer Aspire (Small Form Factor)L100. Any help please?????

To tell go into my computer , then right click on C: drive and select properties. This will tell you the size of the harddrive and how much is being used.

Get some other software like Nero. It is mach better than any Windows Software. Especially if you are using VISTA>

Your PC has a 160Gb Serial ATA (SATA) drive.

Any SATA drive should work for ya. 160 Gb is a good sized drive, so IF you have room in the case you may want to just ADD a drive to the PC instead of replace the existing one.

According to the specifications for the PC you should have 2 more SATA connectors.

Go back to Acer.com. The driver you want is the one that say's (Power 1000 chipset driver) that is if it's an integrated Network card. If it's not integrated then I would need the name on the card. Hope this helps.
