What is the EC #? That will tell you where to look. It should cycle EC then say a 2 digit number. Is the frideg cooling at all? Also check the back wall down the left side and see if there is any ice there. Last, feel around the door opening where the door seal meets the cabinet and see if the cabinet is hot. If it is, check to see that your condeser up top is clean and that the fan up there is running when either one of the compressors is running. Any ore info you could give would be helpful in diagnosing your problem. post back and maybe we can figger it out. Good Luck!

I have super general a/c from last few days it shut after 3/4 hours and display show EC and does not go unless it's is shut from main switch. What can be reason.
The EC error code tells you that your equipment has a pressure limit or the R410A refrigerant level is low. In this case, you must first contact a certified HVAC technician to check the pressure. If the pressure matches the gray label on the side of the condenser, your system has insufficient refrigerant. Make sure that the refrigerant charge in the factory is sufficient to cover this distance. Otherwise, you will need to add refrigerant.

  • Bad Internal and External PCB
  • Sensor
  • Bad Connection
Several reasons can cause EC Error. The main problem is usually a leak somewhere in the system.

EC error code meaning

I understand that you are getting an "EC" error code on your Frigidaire air conditioner. However, it appears "EC" is an invalid error code. It is possible that the error code is missing characters? I show that the error code "ES" or "CS" is valid. In the meantime, I suggest resetting your air conditioner. You can do this by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes.
