Hello Michel, In the iphone 3GS there is hidden feature called the "White on Black". It completely inverts the color scheme of your iPhone. The background on the home screen will be white, and the text will be black.All of your native apps will have an inverted color scheme. to disable this feature, Go to Settings then General then Accessibility then Turn of White on Black.
ASAP (and the caps are intentional) get your laptop connected to an external monitor. If the display is fine on the "big screen", it's most likely you only have a screen inverter/lcd failure. Failing Inverters can cause the effect you're seeing as well as an LCD burn out on the way.
If the displays are identical, then your video card is about to fail.
Sounds like a problem with the video board of the monitor. I would contact Acer, since it less than 3 yrs old, tell them the problem that you are having get an RMA number and they will fix it for free. You only have to pay for shipping it back. Hope this helps.
