Cannot download photos from phone to computer - it has done it before but now it tells me that another samsung pc studio 3 is performing a time consuming operation and to try again later - so basically the phone explorer isn't working.

ck settings in pc might have to reinstall most software problems can be fixed with fresh install.

Disconnec the phone from the PC. insert the Disc and run and install the Samsung PC Studio on the PC. Now reboot the PC. Connect the phone to PC via the USB cable. And the PC should say SGH G600 connected. The with the help of file manager on the Samsung PC Studio, xfer the pics to whatever folder you want.

I had this problem before, You have to specify what type of USB settings you want. go to phone settings, then USB settings and pick from "PC Studio", "Ask on connection" or "Mass Storage".

You may need to download PC Studio from Samsung for your phone first and the phone is confused because its not installed. If you already have installed this app, remove and reinstall it as it may be a corrupted intallation. If all that fails call Samsung for further more specific help.

G'day,Mate !!...My own personal experience with 'Samsung PC Studio' is...it is ,to put it mildly,obsolete,unless they have updated it.Also,I believe you are referring to a phone that was brand new in 2006.You could TRY using Samsung Kies,but,again,in my experience,that is a colossal waste of time ,also.Have you tried plugging phone in while computer is shut down,then powering computer back up ??
