The electronic viewfinder on almost all digital cameras if even they got one is a tiny resolution screen or a mirror reflecting the bigger or smaller lcd screen. switch to your Lcd screen and see if colors are ok or still pink, also look at pictures you have taken. if ok the problem soly lies on the viewfinder which I have many cameras like it and come to think of it they looked aliittle pink too. the view finder helps you only in sunny conditions that you cant see your regular Lcd screen. and should be able to give you a good idea of what you are shooting. pink in real digital colors means you lost some green . look through your menu and see if there is an adjustment for it if not and you cant live with it return for exchange. I looked up the specs and would love this camera. good luck

Nikon D80. It worked fine until recently (maybe after I took pictures during whale-watching in a heavy rain and camera got wet). Now the view in the viewfinder is kind of greyish and blurry. Focus area...

Seems like your problem on greyish/blurry viewfinder is caused by the camera getting water logged. Get your cam cleaned by Nikon.

The flashing red light usually happens if you have this indicator set in the camera. This may not necessarily be an error.. just a setting that you have put in place in your menu.

Pictures are pink with lines

The camera is a wonderful Kodak product and takes beautiful 8.5 Megapixel photographs. When you save the pictures to an SD card, you must at some point remove them digitally from the card.
Either by linking it to the USB cable and going from there to your PC, OR by removing the SD card from the camera and inserting it into an SD card slot in your computer, printer, or card reader. Occasionally the card readers such as the ones in your PC, printer, or card reader devices do not connect properly and will only transfer part of the data, resulting in pink ugly lined photographs. This problem can be fixed by using the USB cable instead of the built in card readers in your other devices.

Sigma 35mm slr film (not digital) camera. Viewfinder turned pink

Look at the downloaded images recorded by the camera, if they are okay the fault lies in the LCD and ofteen the system board chip that tranlates a recorded image onto your LCD.

Pictures look further away than they seemed through the viewfinder

Like all point and shoot cameras, PhotoPC's viewfinder is not 100 percent accurate and will slightly magnify the subject. The actual picture will always appear to have been taken further away than what the user views through the viewfinder.
