Lg intellowasher wd-8015c won't drain?

The washing machine won't drain the water. I've put it on a few different washes now and it still won't drain. I've opened the p-trap at the bottom on the front of the machine and drained the water (dirty) and also 2 coins came out. I have put it on a wash since this happened to see if it will drain but nothing is happening? Can I fix this myself or do I have to get someone in? Thanks

Most probably pump is blocked or the hose is blocked. Put drain hose lower or the blades are broken. It is not that hard to check if you know where the pump is and you can take it off without requiring special tools.

Testimonial: "Thanks for that. So we could fix it ourselves? Is it usually down to a build up of dirt/grime or could something be stuck? May have to call out a handy man to have a look just wanted to try and do it myself if it was a simple solution? hmmmm"

SOURCE: bosch washing machine won't drain and the door won't open.

Sounds like you have a blocked pump.To empty the machine manually lower the drain hose into a bowl or bucket.Once emptied the door should open.On most modern machines there will be a filter behind the kick plate at bottom front of machine, Check this for any foreign objects then try a spin before putting on again. If problem persists come for further options.

LG Intellowasher 7kg wd-8015c is leaking from underneath

the drum.........which you pop ya washing in.......hangs via 2 spring under the machine lid..........if 1 snaps........you will get more noise......and maybe water leaking via the door seal as the drum wont sit level.........
remove lid then look either side for 2 springs.......
if 1 has snapped its an easy fix.......take you about 1/4 of a hour to do.

cheers

The door is jammed on my LG Intellowasher WD-1023C-Washing Machine - Front loader. It has finished it's wash cycle, but the door won't open

Slide a paint scraper or similar between the machine and the latch side and push it quite hard and it should open. Mine does and I found the fix on this site!

LG Intellowasher (Model WD-1023C)

The water pump can be blocked and thus stop the machine from finishing the wash cycle. In front on the bottom there is as hatch that can be opened with a flat screwdriver, the small black rubber pipe can be used to first drain all the water before the opening the filter. Small objects such as coins coluld be found in here, blocking the pump. Clean the pump by removing these, optionally blowing into the outlet (yuck!), to dislodge anything. If that does not help to fix the problem, you can clean that actual water pump, but this requires you to use a screwdriver to remove the pump.

Tilt the machine on its side, the pump is attached with 3 self-tapping screws. (if you can't figure out what the pump is you should probably let a technician do this). The pump has 2 parts to it, take it apart carefully and clean out all the dirt that has accumulated in there. Plastic friendly, waterproof grease can be applied to the pump spindle and bearing if available.

If the problem still persists a new pump is available from LG at a reasonable cost.
