I have a dishwasher that sticks, it fills with water, drops the tablet & does a part wash but then, the program button starts flashing and will not do anything else,it heats the water ok but when I open the door, there is still water inside yet if I start it again, it emptys the water, then does the same thing again, have you got any ideas?
Many Thanks
John
Mine does the same - its not the first time this has happened.Last time the engineer said it was a blocked filter, but i cant find any blockages... Someone must have an idea what causes it. I have cleaned all of pipes, filters etc out, removed the motor, & given it a once over? The motor seems to labour but not initially, it will pump out water if i fill it up manually, & it will start to work, perhaps its a pcb fault?Mine does the same - its not the first time this has happened.Last time the engineer said it was a blocked filter, but i cant find any blockages... No, But when I got another one and was fitting it, I noticed that the waste pipe was clogged with lime scale at the bend where it goes through the wall, I think this might have had something to do with it as the pump might have had too much pleasure and then stopped, but it's only a guess. Hope this helps.

have the same problem.how do i get behind the front facia to access the pipe?have the same problem.how do i get behind the front facia to access the pipe?
Managed to get behind the facia. cleared the pipe by a combination of blowing and sucking (into a fixed on pipe)
Dishwasher is working fine now......thanks.
Turned out there was a block on the clear short pipe that goes to a pressure sensor situated to the left at the front behind the front facia under the door which the engineer cleared by blowing it!! The pipe connects to a little stub that sticks out of the blue plastic flow control thing on the lhs of the dishwasher. U can access this by removing the lhs cover but not really necessary...

Hi Niel, If you were to start the cycle from the beginning, where in the cycle does this occur? . So many code numbers for so many units, hard to keep up .Just note if heating is taking place and if drainage is correct. Hear from you soon.
These mechanical timer machines have to follow a series of logical steps to complete the program - ie, empty. fill to level 1. wash. heat to temp. etc etc
My guess is the machine is not heating, as you say it works for part of the program - or possibly it is not emptying correctly? check water heating element and drain pump.
Program 4 eco is a separate program from 3, using low temperature washing - the machine does stop between 3 and 4 normally and doesnt carry on through.
Check that water supply is available and that water inlet valve is operational. Filling unit is usually the first step of any wash program and dishwasher is shutting down because float valve is not actuated.
It sounds like you have eithwer a low water problem (ie..Clogged inlet valve ) or your heater inside the unit is bad are they drying ok one other thing to do is run the hot water at the sink first to make sure the cold that is in the lines from the water heater is not filling in the unit try those things first
A flashing start button shows that the filter is dirty. Remove the filter assembly from the machine. The "tube" can be split into 2 sections fairly simply - do so, and wash each piece under the tap to clean it.
Once the assembly is cleaned properly, select the program that you desire, and press and HOLD the start button for 2 seconds. The wash cycle should begin.
My dishwasher Model is 665 15891790 and the serie #FG3907905.
After programing my dishwasher and pressing the start button, it fills with water, but when it is due to start the sensing light comes on. I have notice that the ring under the watering arm on the bottom of the machine seams to be cracked. Could that be the problem for the machine not starting its' cycle.
Thank you.
